HIROSHIMA, Japan -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy landed at Japan's Hiroshima airport on Saturday with a pitch for further military assistance to leaders gathered at the Group of Seven summit in Hiroshima.

His visit was bolstered by a U.S. policy shift to allow other nations to send F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, aircraft that Zelenskyy has been pleading for.
