SINGAPORE -- After a boom in 2021, mergers and acquisitions in the tech industry could slow in Asia this year amid worries over Russia's invasion of Ukraine, inflation and interest rates, as well as a spotty recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

In China and South Korea, the rush for M&A deals has turned into a slow shuffle as investors weigh an investment landscape vulnerable to headwinds sweeping the global economy.
